Math Transitions — Summer Programs

Math Transitions programs are designed to help students enter a new math level feeling prepared, confident, and familiar with what’s ahead. Each program focuses on a specific transition point, using a calm, structured approach to build both skills and confidence.
Middle School Math Launch is a small-group summer program for rising 6th graders that prepares students for the structure, expectations, and grading of middle school math.
Students strengthen essential ratio skills while building a clear understanding of proficiency-based grading and the different types of feedback they will receive in 6th-grade math.

High School Math Launch is a small-group summer program for rising 9th graders that prepares students for the structure, expectations, and grading of high school math.
Students strengthen foundational algebra skills while building a clear understanding of traditional letter grading, weighted grade books, and GPA before the school year begins.

Flexible, small-group support throughout August
Honors Math Launch – Guided Practice provides structured summer sessions for students preparing for honors math classes.
Students complete required summer homework with guidance, explanation, and strategy support to ensure understanding and readiness for early assessments.
Students attend 4 sessions scheduled at 4:30 PM (Monday–Thursday), with flexibility to choose dates within the program window.
