Reading and Dyslexia Specialist

Hi, I’m Danelle, a local mom specializing in supporting dyslexic students in improving their reading and writing skills.  I was recently certified in the Barton Reading and Spelling System. Additionally, I’m currently completing a practicum to become certified with the Orton-Gillingham Academy. 

I have dyslexic elementary school-aged twins, so this work is very personal and important to me. It can be scary when traditional methods of education don’t effectively teach your child how to read and write.  I believe every child should have the right to learn how to read at their own pace and in a way that works for their brain.
